Project Management Associate Jobs description
Project management associate positions are more or less similar to general assistant positions, except for the fact that responsibilities performed by the former are more project related. One can also compare these jobs with back-office work. Project management jobs are usually available in the operations department of an organization.Organizations often refer to project management associate jobs with different titles such as project coordinator, project management assistant, project management professional, senior project management associate, project management support professional, and junior project management associate. Such positions usually work under supervision of a project manager, operations executive, assistant project manager, operations manager, project management representative, or the like.
A project management associate should have a high school diploma, associate's degree, or a bachelor's degree. Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint may be advantageous.
