Engineering Project Management Jobs description
An engineering project management professional should possess the knowledge of execution and handover of projects. He/she should ensure that the site works are planned and completed in compliance with the required standards and within the deadlines. An engineering project management professional is responsible for managing the project site by overseeing the day-to-day running of all matters related to project implementation, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules and progress on site in accordance to the master and detailed work program, checking drawings for discrepancies & missing details and clarifying with the consultant in time for project execution, assisting in the planning and sequencing of the construction operations, liaising with clients or consultants or representatives on site, conducting inspections and checking on work as well as giving requisition of materials and equipment for the projects. He/she should possess excellent technical knowledge in relevant fields. The position of an engineering project management professional involves co-coordinating during design phase, coordinating (internal and external inspection agencies) during project inspection; coordinating with customer for factory acceptance tests and co-coordinating during commissioning as well as compiling project documentation, product manuals, and updating project data base on regular basis.
