Description:

Manage assigned events (trade shows, virtual events) to maximize the impact of highlighted technologies and within the context of larger marketing communications activities and campaigns to promote Schlumberger as the recognized “thought leader” in key sectors (e.g., deep water, shale). Coordinate with internal stakeholders for assigned events, making full and effective use of all available communications vehicles.

Role and Responsibilities:

Work within given budget for assigned shows

Coordinate show services, marketing materials, accommodations, transportation, badge registrations, onsite services, technical services, booth setup, product placement, etc.

Work with the individual Divisions and GeoUnit regions to develop plans for communicating the Schlumberger offering aligned to selected industry technical challenges, domains, themes for the specific trade shows and events

Oversee the shipping of all trade show materials, including booths, graphics, displays, literature, and product inventory

Conduct planning meetings to develop timeline, product lists, attendee lists, theme, and all logistical needs

Provide written summaries evaluating trade show success and future opportunities for improvement

Manage vendors for services such as installation, dismantling, and graphics

Work with Divisions to plan and execute Tier 1 and 2 service and product launches

Work with GeoUnits on local shows to maintain a consistent message throughout.

Qualifications and Experience:

University degree or equivalent experience

Strong, teamwork, project management, personnel management, and organizational skills

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products i.e. TeamSpace and SharePoint

Must be highly organized and able to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders

Able to handle multiple projects from start to finish

Must adhere to multiple stringent deadlines

Must be able to work unsupervised and remotely

Safety compliant to ensure no on-site incidents

Must pay strong attention to detail

Experience with project management systems

3 – 5 years’ experience in large industry trade shows

Experience in virtual trade shows and events

Experience in the E&P industry or similar

Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorshop.
