The Consumer Engagement Professional 2 oversees the enrollment, education, engagement, and activation duties for client groups regardless of segment, and for product where warranted. The Consumer Engagement Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Consumer Engagement Professional 2 contributes to business strategy by understanding benefit offerings to ensure enrollment success, identifying member education opportunities to drive maximum utilization of available resources, and directing clients on the use of available resources.

Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.

Follows established guidelines/procedures.

30% of virtual or in-person presentations

The Louisville territory will cover - Western KY and up to Indiana

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Health and Life license or in process of pursuing or complete class and take test when available with the State, within 30 days of hire

Business acumen experience- HR, Insurance Agency-sales and/or Wellness

Ability to travel up to 60%- local and occasional overnight

Flexible schedule to meet client needs (may have evening or weekend meetings), shift could be as early as 6am and late as 9pm.

Effective communication

Demonstrated presentation skills (in-person and virtual)

Solid leadership and personal accountability for work and productivity

This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits.

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Able to meet deadlines, work with minimum supervision

Additional Requirements

Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or comparable experience and background

Previous project management experience

Benefit administration experience

Previous experience in sales

Bilingual English/Spanish

Interview Process

As part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by Modern Hire, a third-party vendor. This technology provides our team of recruiters and hiring managers an enhanced method for decision-making.

If you are selected to move forward from your application prescreen, you will receive correspondence inviting you to participate in a pre-recorded Voice Interview and/or an SMS Text Messaging interview. If participating in a pre-recorded interview, you will respond to a set of interview questions via your phone. You should anticipate this interview to take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.
