Description

The Data Governance & Privacy Risk Management Lead is responsible for managing the Data Governance and Privacy Risk Management Programs, including monitoring and assessing risk, managing metrics and reports, internal consultation, and reporting to leadership. This role will be responsible for assessing, monitoring and consulting on risks related to data integrity, data stewardship, security, and retention as well as the potential privacy breaches that may occur when sensitive data is compromised.

Responsibilities

The Data Governance & Privacy Lead is responsible for driving the strategy and program development for the Data Governance & Privacy risk towers. The Lead will conduct the required bi-annual top risk assessments as well as targeted risk assessments of key processes to identify potential gaps that may increase residual risk. This role will largely serve as a consultant to internal business partners to help advise on risk related to business decisions, process development, control improvement, and organizational changes. The Lead will also oversee mitigation activities to ensure effective completion and monitor overall control effectiveness. Additionally, the Lead is responsible for developing and managing key risk metrics and key performance metrics to effectively monitor and report on the residual risk and provide transparency to senior leaders.

The Risk Management Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial; exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. The Lead uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

8 or more years of relevant experience in Data Governance (i.e. data architecture, data privacy, data integrity, data integration, data management), Privacy, Risk Management, or Audit

Experience communicating and collaborating with operational and senior leaders

Experience driving process improvement and measuring progress

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of leadership or project management experience

Previous Archer exprience

Understanding of healthcare privacy laws/regulations

Experience with cloud based data environments

Experience with data breach response processes

Experience with change management

Leads with confidence

Additional Information

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. Interview Process

If participating in a pre-recorded interview, you will respond to a set of interview questions via your phone. You should anticipate this interview to take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If participating in a SMS Text interview, you will be asked a series of questions to which you will be using your cell phone or computer to answer the questions provided. Expect this type of interview to last anywhere from 5-10 minutes. Your recorded interview(s) via text and/or pre-recorded voice will be reviewed and you will subsequently be informed if you will be moving forward to next round of interviews.
