Description
The IT Compliance Professional audits the most complex new and existing information systems applications to ensure that appropriate controls exist, that processing is efficient and accurate, and that information systems procedures are in compliance with corporate standards. The IT Compliance Professional work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. This team facilitates the completion of deliverables for several annual compliance requirements, including Humana's HITRUST Certification, HIPAA Security Risk Assessment, PCI Assessments, etc.
Responsibilities
One of our primary goals is to improve the assessment experience for control and process owners by improving transparency into compliance requirements and working towards an assess once, report many approach.
The IT Compliance Professional works in our enterprise information protection department and works with all parts of Cyber and IT to ensure that the appropriate controls exist, operate effectively and that information systems procedures are in compliance with industry and corporate standards. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
1 years of related technical experience
Ability to create process documentation, translating the non-technical to technical
Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communications
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
Strong attention to detail
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Experience with security frameworks such as (HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, PCI, SOC2, etc.)
Associates working in the state of Arizona must comply with the Tobacco Free Hiring Policy (see details below under Additional Information) and upon offer will be subjected to nicotine testing as part of a 10-panel drug test
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated project management experience
CISA certification
Microsoft certification
Working knowledge of the Windows XP operating system, database technologies and networking
Metrics and report development experience
