My client needs a Lean ADM Project Lead for a 6 month contract in New York City.

Skill required / desired
Essential
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Ability to design, develop and implement application development and maintenance processes changes
• At least 8 years of experience working on application development, maintenance and production support projects using multiple technology platforms
• At least 5 additional years of consulting experience of which 3 years must be as a project lead
• Must have deep knowledge of software development and maintenance lifecycles (SDLC’s), ITIL and software engineering methods
• Must have deep knowledge of process improvement framework such as CMMI
• Good knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma tools and methods, Business Process Management, Change Management and Business Process Re-engineering
• Strong demonstrated project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to motivate teams and lead change at all levels of the organization
• Ability to rapidly master client specific ADM process, Lean Method, models and tools and provide application leadership and mentoring in this context
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Skills and experience in end-to-end process analysis, design and improvement to rapidly deliver major business outcomes
• Ability to produce high quality written and verbal communication within a knowledge management framework
• Strong PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, Blueworks, Minitab

• Masters in MIS

Key Job Functions/Responsibilities (Deliverables / Services)
• The role is to work with the dedicated Operations Development and Lean project team to develop improved processes and implement changes to drive efficiency and productivity improvements
• Lead Lean ADM project and deliver change within time and budget following the Lean ADM Method
• Achieve project level benefits realization targets
• Organize collection of inputs, various types of workshops and work product review meetings
• Drive acceptance of project deliverables
• Drive project management processes, especially plan, issue, change and quality management
• Provide overall direction over current state diagnosis, improvement opportunity identification and future state design and associated change risks
• Lead critical workshops especially Voice of the Customer (VoC) interviews, Value Stream Mapping reviews, Diagnostic Readout reviews, Improvement Opportunity reviews and Future State Design reviews
• Drive the implementation of process improvement changes
• Produce workstream project management work products
