Description
This position will be accountable for the technical architecture, implementation and operation of client virtualization, automation and application delivery systems
across the enterprise. In addition, this position will be accountable for the assignment of operational and project-related tasks to the relevant technical team
members.
The successful applicant will be able to lead multiple projects and staff at an enterprise level, resolve problems and proactively communicate with no supervision.
This position requires the ability to operate at a superior level of proficiency in analysis, administration, and project management. The security risk level for this
position is high; therefore, the incumbent may be subject to additional background screening requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Development
Train team members.
Utilize / acquire necessary project resource skills.
Establish a team quality standard.
Production Support
Manage of Application problems (ensure timely completion of problems and management).
Maintain overall process knowledge of various business systems.
Implement/maintain a production support infrastructure.
Timely completion of all mandated changes.
Act as a resource to assist staff in resolving project issues.
Project Management
Manage multiple projects of various sizes.
Responsible for coordinating members on a project.
Management reporting.
Analysis & design
Testing
Implementation
Project Status Communication
Project Administration
Ensure project status reporting occurs.
Ensure project plan methodology is established and followed.
Ensure project scope changes are managed and expectations are met.
IT Process Development:
Development of work process, instructions and standards.
Enforce adherence to standards and corporate policies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor's Degree
-8 years of relevant experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous or current experience as a Systems Administrator / Engineer working on the following technologies:
1)Citrix Presentation Server, Xenapp, Xendesktop
2)Systems Center Configuration Manager 2007 and 2012
3)Systems Center Operations Manager 2007
4)Microsoft Operating Systems Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012
Familiarity / understanding of:
1)Storage Area Networks (SAN Fabric and switching), understanding
2)VMware - vSphere - experience
3)Various X86 hardware platforms
Description of the Ideal Candidate:
-7 to 10 years of experience
Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
